We play a wide range of music from the 60s & 70s right through to the chart toppers of today! We discuss the music direction that you would like to hear on the day, as well as input from your guests who are a big part of the dance floor (unless under strict orders from you to take no requests of course!). We use this as a starting point when creating each couples custom playlists. We create playlists for each section of the day, ensuring there is appropriate music at all times!
We have over 50,000 songs in our collection and have been the DJs for hundreds of weddings! With this level of experience its safe to say we have a pretty good idea of what works, and how to get people tapping their feet! All our DJs also come equipped with mobile internet (restricted to 3G coverage) so any quirky requests we don’t have in our collection can be downloaded instantly.

Create a night to remember with Rock Hopper, Wanaka’s favorite party band! We play a range of music from mellow, acoustic grooves to ‘dance-your-socks-off’ party sets and can provide all of your sound entertainment needs. Rock Hopper’s line-up includes Pete Stevenson and Sam Orbell on vocals, guitar and bass, Helen Carter on saxophone and keyboards and completing the mix with his smooth grooves is Jeff Sinnott on drums. All having worked as professional musicians, Rock Hopper is a fun, entertaining band that will provide quality music for your function.

Tai Forrester
Tai, who is originally from Stewart Island and now a Wanaka based musician has been playing live music for 12 years. He is not afraid of the stage as he opened for the Doobie Brothers, Tiki Taane, Black Seeds, Elvis Costello… Over the years he built up lots of experience in playing live music, live looping and beatboxing at weddings, events, pub gigs etc… so he knows what the perfect event needs. He covers a broad range of genres, from Anderson Paak to Tracy Chapman, Eminem and Bill Withers. Lately he’s been working on originals and we’ll hope to have some songs ready in a couple of months.
As a solo artist, he won Songstars Queenstown in 2014 with his song Guilty. He mainly plays covers with a ‘soulful blend of acoustic rumblings, peppered with a surprisingly powerful voice and precise playing’ as I quote The Source magazine. He is a wizard with vocals, guitar and looping!
Apart from his solo gigs you can also find him as the singer of Queenstown band The Killer Seas. Inspired and influenced by rhythm & blues, 60’s garage rock and psychedelic soul, The Killer Seas are all about getting back to the essence of rock & roll music.

Robert Glen is a one man band-loop pedal based/singer/solo guitarist hailing from Dundee, Scotland.
Having lived and performed weddings in Wanaka for over 5 years, Robert is no stranger to performing at wedding functions and knows what it takes to make your big day special.
Robert has an eclectic taste and with a repetoire of over 200 songs he can cover all genres and tastes and can also learn songs for you that you wanted to hear on your big day.
If it’s stripped back acoustic isle songs, canapes or fill the dance floor music you want Robert can do it all.
Since moving to New Zealand I have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with The Black Seeds at The Forsyth Stadium, Jimmy Barnes, Paul Ubana Jones, Swamp Thing and Salmonella Dub. As an artist, constantly striving to improve and develop my talents, every venture, gig, solo or band performance I am polishing and improving all the time.
