A destination remembered
Ainsley and Michael live in Canada, but their wedding began with a memory: a 2020 holiday in Wanaka with Ainsley's parents, and a region they never forgot. When it came time to plan their day, thirty-four family and friends travelled from across the globe to join them at Lake Hawea View. Planning a wedding from the other side of the world could have been daunting, but the Small Wedding Package gave them everything they needed in one place, and the confidence to organise it all remotely.
Simple, heartfelt, and entirely their own
With the lake and mountains as their backdrop, Ainsley and Michael needed little extra styling. They skipped the band for a DIY playlist, working instead with a small circle of local vendors, including Alpine Images, Double Thyme Catering, Wanaka Party Hire and Married by Friends. The result was less a wedding and more a reunion: relaxed, personal, and full of the people they love most.
